The Hyatt Boys

Ahhhh spring time and boys. It was my pleasure to take pictures of the Hyatt boys in the bluebonnets and on the railroad track. They played just like boys do in the spring. Being a mother of 3 boys myself, I understood how Erica wanted some special pictures of her boys celebrating nature as boys do. Of course I had to make it fun for them and offer up some suckers to keep them enticed in the photo shoot. It did not take long for them to find other ways to enjoy the great outdoors when we got to the railroad tracks. It is so heart warming to see how good of friends even brothers can be.
I hope you enjoyed your boys pictures Erica and Stephen. I really enjoyed capturing those moments for you.

My Sister Alisa Marie Keating

My sister Alisa is my Best friend. I was given a great gift when my sister and I realized that we really loved each other. Thank you God for that gift. My brother-in-law Simon gave me a CD of my sisters pictures and some videos of her in her happiest moments. The birth of her son, her wedding day, and times with her family. I lost my sister in December of 2009 and I am still deeply sad to not have her here. It is refreshing to me though to look back at these pictures and reminisce on the moments in her life when nothing could have held her back. I am truly thankful to have these memories captured in photos so that I can always keep them fresh in my mind and share them with my nephew Riley. Although I still tear up when I look at them, I am glad to always have them with me. It is this reason that I absolutely love photography and the ability to capture these moments forever. Here are some of my favorite moments of Alisa's life. I just wanted to share with you Alisa as I new her. God Bless.

The Cole Family

Jason, Nicole and Baby Jackson

What a wonderful experience that I had taking new born photographs for Jason and Nicole. They were really laid back and even though they are working on baby Jacksons sleep patterns, the were very helpful and attentive during the shoot. It is such a joy to experience the beginning weeks of a new born and their new family. Jason and Nicole have changed their lives forever and in my opinion for the better.
I can not forget Roxy, their dog which they lovingly included in the pictures.
Jason even called Jackson his little brother. How sweet to see that kind of love. I wish Nicole and Jason all the happiness with their new baby Jackson and their new family.
They are truly a beautiful family and the light is shining through in their eyes. Congrats Cole Family.

Troy's Gift to his Wife and Mother of his Children

How wonderful it is to celebrate a day just for the mother of children. Mother's day is a day to celebrate all the hard work and love that is poured in to being a mother. Troy decided he want to give his Wife something special for this mother's day. So we did a photo session at the Adriatica shopping and new living community in McKinney Texas.
The photo session included his beautiful 6 year old daughter and his 8 month old son. I suggested he get in the mix as well. Being a mother and wife, I personally would love to see my Husband take that initiative. The kids were a delight and Troy was a loving father to them even when the focus was lost on their part. He even brought along his mother-in-law to help out with the photo session. Now thats impressive thinking.
I wish them a Very Happy Mother's Day and it is my hopes that his wife enjoy the pictures.

Blue bonnets and spring time.

I took some time out today to take some pictures of some very pretty girls named Darbie and Stephanie. It is so nice to see that the people can glow with inner light when in the presence of nature. These girls were radiant and I loved capturing their outer and inner beauty. This is my absolute favorite time of year. All the beautiful colors and smells surround you like a warm blanket on a cold night. I also asked my photographer friend Jodie of Jodie Christine to snap some shots of me with my boys. Well lets just say that other kids listen to me during photo sessions but my kids could care less and no one wanted to look in the same direction or even make a descent face. She was able to capture some cute shots though. The individuals are actually my favorite. Thanks Jodie. I also talked her into letting me take a few of her with her daughter. No face shots though just scenic. I think they came out darling.
